With Diwali around the corner, Indian actress Disha Patani is feeling festive. She wished her fans and followers on Instagram with a stunning picture of herself. However, it did not go down too well with some, as she paired a stunning lehenga and dupatta with a Calvin Klein sports bra.

Although Disha has disabled the comments section on her post, trolls still managed to find a way to express their displeasure. After the picture was shared on Instagram by another account, users lashed out at her for ‘disrespect(ing) our Indian tradition’. However, one or two fans defended her right to wear whatever she chooses to, reports indiatoday.in.

On the work front, Disha is currently busy shooting for Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat. The 25-year-old actress will play Radha, a trapeze artiste in a 1960s circus.

Disha is excited to work with Salman Khan in the period drama and told a leading daily, ‘I’m excited to be a part of Bharat, it’s like a dream come true to get an opportunity to work with Salman sir and I can’t wait for the journey to begin. I am a big fan of Ali Abbas sir’s work.’

Bharat, which also features Katrina Kaif, Sunil Grover, Nora Fatehi and Tabu, will hit the theatres on Eid 2019.
