IGCC celebrates 6th anniversary
Dhaka: Marking the 6th founding day anniversary, Indira Gandhi Culture Centre organised a programme of Music and Dance on 11 March at 7:00pm at Main Auditorium of Bangladesh National Museum in Dhaka.
The programme was presented by the teachers and students of IGCC.
Dr. Aparna Pandey, Hindi Teacher, and her students sang a chorus song titled ‘Itni Shakti Hamein Dena Data’.
A Qawaali song was presented by Hindustani Classical Vocal Music Teacher, Santosh Kumar Mishra, and his students.
This was followed by a Yoga demonstration by Yoga teacher, Dr. Brajesh Singh, and his students. Mrs. Sankari Mridha, dance teacher, presented a Bharatnatyam dance.
The event was concluded by a Manipuri dance titled ‘Leichen’ by dance teacher Warda Rihab and her students.
Dr. Gowher Rizvi, International Affairs Advisor to Hon’ble Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh graced the occasion as Chief Guest and the High Commissioner of India, H.E Mr. Harsh Vardhan Shringla, graced the occasion as Guest of Honour.
