Dhaka: 'Bangla Cine Award' giving ceremony will be held at Colden Centre at New York in the USA on April 17.  

BNS Logistics Bangladesh and New York Global Business Communication Network would organise the programme. 

This was told at a press conference held at the National Press Club here today.

Film Directors Kazi Hayat, Mohiuddin Faruk and M D Rafiqul Islam Liton and Managing Director of BNS Logistic Bangladesh Salahuddin Ahmed Shimul spoke in the conference.

The award will be given in 25 categories of 18 nominated films released in 2014-15.

Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu is expected to present on the occasion as the chief guest while State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Meher Afroz Chumki as the special guest.
