Sushmita Sen served notice after mosquito-breeding spots found at house
India’s Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation(BMC) served a notice to Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen after some mosquito breeding spots were found in the vicinity of her house in Khar.
‘As per sources, the BMC officials have long been trying to conduct a reality check at Sushmita’s abode in Khar, but they were not able to following her absence from the place’, reports ANI.
Finally, the BMC officials conducted inspection at her penthouse on Friday last week, and found mosquito breeding spots and subsequently served her notice.
Vouching for the notice, Rajan Naringrekar, the insecticide officer at BMC said, ‘We have issued a notice to her under section 381b of the MMC Act, which means she could be prosecuted. The metropolitan magistrate can levy a fine of up to Rs 10,000 to 20,000’.
Sen is the second celebrity after Shahid Kapoor, who has been served such notice.
