Dhaka: Bangladeshi celebrity couple Ananta Jalil and ‍ Afiea Nusrat Barsha have been appointed as the brand ambassador of Maxx Cola.  

The popular on- and off-screen couple and Waresul Habib, Chief operating officer at Maxx Cola, signed the deal at a restaurant in the capital on Saturday, said a press release.

As per the deal, Ananta and Barsha will take part in numerous promotional activities of Maxx Cola for one year.  

Waresul Habib said, the popular couple is well known to the people for their good acting in movies. They can play vital role to popularize the product, he hoped.

The star couple Ananta and Barsha, came to be known after the premiere of their debut movie ‘Khoj:The Search’ in 2010. They gained fame with their joint appearances in high budget films produced by Ananta like 'Hridoy Bhanga Dheu', ‘Speed’, ‘Most Welcome’.

Among other, Arunangshu Ghosh, head of marketing, Nurul Afser, category manager of Maxx Cola were present at the program.
