Dhaka: Bangladesh film actor Shakib Khan has confessed that Dhallywood actress Apu Biswas is his wife and Abraham Khan Joy is their son.

The movie star on Tuesday came up with the remarks while talking to NTV over phone.

Shakib Khan said, ‘Film actress Apu is my wife and Abraham is my son. There are some people who have tried to mislead Apu as a part of their conspiracy against me.’

Apu also told NTV over phone that nobody has persuaded her to do anything against Shakib Khan and she did everything thinking about her social recognition and the future of their son Abhraham Khan Joy.

Earlier on Monday, Shakib Khan thrashed Apu Biswas’s claim of being married to her, soon after the actress claimed that she is married to Shakib. Shakib on Monday told NTV Online that he is the father of the child that Apu Biswas brought with her during an exclusive interview with a private television channel on Monday afternoon, where she also claimed that Shakib is the father of the eight-month-old baby boy.

Shakib said, ‘It’s a trap against me. I would inform media in appropriate time.’

Referring all things 'normal', Shakib said it is time to go ahead.

Over Shakib’s comments, Apu said, ‘It’s great achievement for me as Shakib has recognised me and his family; and has mentioned all things normal.’

But Apu said she appeared before media on her own will.

Shakib Khan has decided not to hold any press conference immediately to explain the claim of film actress Apu Biswas that she is married to him and they have an eight-month-old son.

Shakib said, 'I don't want to clarify more to the media at this bad time. All the facts behind the incident will be made public within a few days. You'll know the reason why Apu did it,' he said while talking to NTV over mobile phone.

In his verified Facebook page on Tuesday morning, Shakib also wrote, ‘A false story was published that I would talk in a press briefing at 12:00pm today.' 

'I’m informing all journalists that I will not hold any press briefing and will inform all things in time,’ Shakib added.

Terming the incident a 'trap', he said that it is part of conspiracies against him to destroy his image in the film industry.

Apu has involved in a group who always want to kick me out form the industry, Shakib added.

Shakib on Monday told different media that he will hold a press conference on Tuesday to clarify his stance following the claim of film actress Apu Biswas that they have been married since 2008.

During an exclusive interview with a private television channel on Monday, actress Apu Biswas claim that she is married to actor Shakib Khan and they have an eight-month-old son, Abraham Khan Joy.

Apu claimed that Shakib married her on April 18, 2008 and the marriage was solemnised at Shakib's Gulshan house in the city where some of his close relatives were present.

Her name was changed to Apu Islam Khan after the marriage and the information was kept secret at Shakib's request. She has no contact with Shakib for the last 10 months.

‘I kept the marriage secret for his welfare. I’ve scarified a lot. But I can’t take his negligence towards me anymore. So, I’m sharing everything with all,’ the actress said.

She also said she stayed for the 10 months (of pregnancy) in India, Singapore and Bangkok. Finally, Apu gave birth to her boy in a clinic of Kolkata on September 27, 2016.
