Film star Shakib Khan files GD seeking security
Popular film actor Shakib Khan filed a general diary (GD) in connection with the alleged attempt on him by miscreants during the biennial election of Bangladesh Cholochitro Shilpi Samity on May 5.
Shakib Khan filed the GD with Tejgaon Industrial Police Station on Monday night seeking security, sub-inspector of the police station Mujibur Rahman told UNB.
It is said in the GD that some people, including dance director Saif Khan Kalu, film actor Symon Sadik, actor Zia and stunt Shamim, attempted to attack Shakib on the day when he entered the Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC) during the election.
He feels insecurity as some people threatened him with killing and harassment by filing case against him, added the GD.
The biennial election to Bangladesh Cholochitro Shilpi Samity was held at the Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC) on May 5.
Film actor Misha Saudagar was elected president while Zayed Khan general secretary of the artistes’ association.
The last election of the artistes’ association was held on January 30, 2015 when Shakib Khan was elected president and Amit Hasan general secretary.
