New Delhi, India: The 2008 film 'Rock On' which was urban, youth-centric and had music as its central point was received well by the audiences. Now, the latest buzz is that the makers are planning a sequel to this hit musical drama, and it is none other than beautiful Shraddha Kapoor, who has been finalised for the lead role.

Actors Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal and Purab Kohli, will reprise their roles in the sequel where Shraddha will play an important part. Producer Ritesh Sidhwani took to Twitter and announced Shraddha's entry into the second instalment. He posted: ‘@ShraddhaKapoor welcome aboard to Rock N Roll.. #Rockon2.’

Earlier, there were reports suggesting that actress Prach Desai too will reprise her role, but this time will be seen in a special appearance of sorts. However, Ritesh has refuted any such rumour and tweeted, ‘#RockOn2 Prachi Desai plays an important part & it's not a special appearance.’
