Dhaka: Model and actress Jannatul Ferdous Peya has played a vital role in recently released science fiction movie The Story Samara. The movie will be released on 28 August. Peya is elated with her role in the film. She is optimistic about the film’s success too.

Peya told that she acted in several movies after the film Chorabali (Quicksand) was released in 2012. Some of the films, among them, are in the line of release. But, The Story of Samara is a special one for Peya.

When asked the reason Peya said, ‘I signed the movie at a time when I was planning to make a room in the film industry. The story of the film is entirely different from the traditional films in our industry.’

‘That’s why I decided to work in the film. I play an important role in the film. This will always be a special one to me. I hope the audience will like the film’, Peya added.

The story of the movie evolves around a battle between the Earth dwellers and residents of another planet, said the director Rikiya Masudo. Five humans fight against the aliens to save the world — Peya plays as one of the rescuers. Besides acting, Peya dons an item song for the movie.

The movie is also starring Sanj Jhon, Shiba Ali Khan, Amaan, ATM Samsujjaman, Chitralekha Guho, Kabila, and Don among others.

House. Alauddin Haq and Imran directed the music for the movie while Samina Chowdhury, SI Tutul, Imran, Porshi, and Kornia have done playbacks in the movie.
