Woman says ‘yes’ to engagement ring from fiancé’s wisdom tooth
Dhaka: You can express your passion for your beloved in hundreds of ways. And you don’t need a diamond ring to propose your girlfriend to show your craving for her. If you really love your future bride, you will rather give her a piece of your body.
A recently engaged California couple believes entirely in that sentiment.
When Lucas Unger proposed to his girlfriend Carlee Leifkes, he didn’t bother with a diamond ring, because he already knew she didn’t want one. Instead, he proposed with a ring made from his own wisdom tooth, reported the Time.
Leifkes seemed overwhelmed with the gift. She wrote on Facebook, ‘We have never been the ‘traditional couple,’ why the heck start now?’
‘So incredibly excited to marry my best friend, the man who knows that his wisdom tooth means more to me than a diamond,’ the bride-to-be posted on Facebook.
‘What does a diamond signify in anybody’s relationship?’ she told BuzzFeed.
‘I literally have my husband’s wisdom on my finger,’ she added.
The lovebirds met at a music festival in Canada earlier this year and reportedly came up with the ring idea together.
