Sylhet: Miscreants hurled a petrol bomb at a bus in Rauli-Koutuk area of Chhatak upazila on Saturday night.

Police said miscreants hurled the petrol bomb at the Sunamganj-bound bus at about 11:00pm.

The bus erupted in flame after the petrol bomb was thrown at it.

Later, a firefighting unit rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control.

However, no one was reported injured as the passengers got down hurriedly from the bus.
