Ad-maker and television drama director Amitabh Reza has announced the name of his maiden film –‘Ayanabaji’.

The announcement was made on 29 March 2015 at a media conference arranged at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel. Amitabh Reza, film producers Ziauddin Adil, and Gausul Alam Shaon, actor Chanchal Chowdhury and other prominent media persons were present at the media conference.

The preliminary works related to the film are now underway.

The film is starring, among others, Chanchal Chowdhury, Lutfur Rahman George, Hira Chowdhury, Shawkat Osman, and Gousul Alam Shaon who also produced the story.

The story of Ayanabaji centres on the life of the central character Ayna, who runs a theatre group with small children. At one time, he comes to a new town to earn his livelihood. Gradually, he gets trapped in the new city. He tries a lot to get out of it and be that old Ayna again, but fails. He cannot go back to the drama school that the left behind. By loving drama he wants to make the town a stage but it turns into the gallows.
