Elderly man’s body found stuffed in sack

Sherpur: Police recovered the body of man stuffed in a sack at Muksudpur in Sadar upazila on Friday afternoon.

The deceased, aged around 60, could not be identified immediately.

Mohammad Mahfuzur Rahman, officer-in-charge (investigation) of Sadar

Police Station, said locals spotted the body of the sexagenarian man in a sack which was covered by a blanket by Jamalpur-Sherpur road in the area at about 2:00pm and informed police.

Later, the law enforcers recovered the body.

Miah said the body bore an injury mark on its neck.
