Gaibandha: Three people, including a child and two women, were killed in a road accident at Jundhaho in Polashbari upazila on Dhaka-Rangpur highway in Gaibandha on Sunday.

The deceased could not be identified immediately.

Polashbari police officer-in-charge Mojibur Rahman said the accident took place when a wood-laden Dhaka-bound truck hit a passenger van at noon, leaving the child and two women dead on the spot and two others injured.
