A tourist jeep driver was killed and 10 others were injured when the jeep turned turtle near Sajek valley in Baghaichhari upazila of Rangamati on Friday evening, reports BSS.

Police said the accident happened when the tourists carrying jeep turned turtle as the driver lost control over steering of the vehicle. Driver Apru Marma died on the spot.

Of the injured, nine tourists were admitted to Khagrachhari Sadar Hospital with the help of locals. One tourist was sent to Chittagong Medical College and Hospital in a critical condition.

Mohammad Nurul Anwar, officer-in-charge of Sajek police station, confirmed the incident.
