Dhaka: Four buses of TR Paribahan were damaged in a fire at a garage of Gabtali bus stand on Sunday evening, reports UNB.

Senior Station Officer of Mirpur Fire Station Md Arifin said the fire originated in a bus kept in the garage around 6:10pm and soon it engulfed the three other buses.

Being informed, four firefighting units rushed in and doused the flame around 7:20 pm.

Two buses were completely damaged while the rest two partially, Arifin said, adding that no was injured in the incident.

The reason behind the fire could not be ascertained yet, he said.
