Dhaka: A construction worker died after an iron rod fell on him at Moghbazar flyover construction site in Dhaka on Wednesday morning, reports UNB.

The Ramna police station sub-inspector Taposh said the deceased, Emon, was working when a piece of rod fell on him from above at the flyover construction site in front of the Daily Janakantha Bhaban at about 11:45am.

Emon was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead at about 12:25 pm, said the hospital authorities.
