Gopalganj: The driver and a passenger of a rented motorcycle were killed as a bus crashed into their vehicle at Pathalia on the Dhaka-Khulna Highway in Sadar upazila of Gopalganj on Thursday morning, reports UNB.

The Sadar police sub-inspector Shah Alam said the accident occurred when a speeding bus hit from behind a rented motorcycle killing passenger Idris Ali, of Fukra village in Kashiani upazila, and the bike driver on the spot.

Identity of the driver could not be known immediately.

Police recovered the bodies and sent those to Gopalganj 250-bed General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
