Dhaka: A fire broke out at a plastics factory at Dokkhingaon Chairmanbari in Dhaka South City’s Khilgaon area on Tuesday morning.

Fire Service and Civil Defence Control Room officials said the fire erupted in the factory located near Nandipara Bridge in the area at about 10:25am.

On information, six firefighting units went to the spot and doused the blaze at about 11:58am.

The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.
