Tangail: One passenger was killed and six others were injured when a passenger bus collided head-on with a truck at Gulla area at Basail of Tangail on Monday morning.

Basail police station sub-inspector (SI) Badal Miah said a Dhaka-bound bus from North Bengal was standing at Gulla bus stop. At that time a North Bengal-bound truck from Dhaka collided head on with the bus at about 9:00am.

In the collision seven bus passengers were injured. All of them were admitted to Tangail Medical College Hospital and there one of them succumbed to his injuries.
