YUASA battery sales and service centre now at Uttara
Japanese battery giant YUASA launched its 2nd sales and service centre at Cosmo Filling Station at Uttara on Thursday (28 July ) in the capital to meet growing consumer demand.
This centre will sell exclusively YUASA batteries and offer after and pre sales services as part of continuous efforts to enhance customer satisfaction, says a press release.
YUASA has teamed up with Japan Solartech Bangladesh Limited to offer original equipment under a Technical Service Agreement (TSA) in Bangladesh.
Japan Solartech Bangladesh has invested 15 million US dollars to set up a state of the art battery factory in Chittagong having production capacity of 30,000 units per month. In Bangladesh, YUASA battery is marketed by Eastern Lubricants Blenders Limited, a subsidiary of state-owned Padma Oil Company Ltd.
Md Abul Khair, Managing Director of Padma Oil Company Ltd (POCL) & Executive Director of Eastern Lubricants Blenders Ltd, inaugurated the sales & service centre. Top executives of POCL, ELBL and JSBL, Owner of Cosmo Filling Station, business partners and valued customers were also present on the occasion.
Md Abul Khair said, World’s one of the renowned battery producer brand YUASA now in Bangladesh at your nearest Padma approved filling station. Major global automobile brands such as Toyota, Honda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Ford, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Tata and Hino have tested and recommended YUASA battery.’
While explaining the benefits of maintenance-free YUASA battery, Reaz Ahmed, Head of Business of JSBL, said, ‘Compared to the conventional batteries, YUASA battery will give 60 percent more durability because of the use of high quality thick glass mat in the manufacturing process.’
Ahmed added, ‘YUASA battery will ensure smooth and accurate DC supply to all the electrical and electronic components of cars to have hassle free driving experience.’
