Dhaka: President Abdul Hamid on Wednesday congratulated Donald Trump on his victory in the US presidential election.

In a message, President Hamid said the US will march forward further in the path of progress and peace under the leadership of Donald Trump.

‘The existing relations of Bangladesh with the USA during the tenure of Donald Trump will be expanded further,’ he hoped.

Republican candidate Donald Trump defeated Democratic Party rival Hillary Clinton to become the 45th US President.
