Worker dies in collision between boats in Sylhet

Sylhet: A sand worker was killed in a collision between two boats in the Chengerkhal river of Jalurmukh area in Goainghat upazila on early Saturday, reports UNB.
The deceased is Sebul Miah, 22, son of Moyna Miah, a resident of Joinarkandi village in Khadimnagar village of Sadar upazila.
Md Delwar Hossain, officer-in-charge of Goainghat Police Station, said Sebul fell into the river as a sand-laden boat hit another boat in the area and got crushed between the two boats at about 4:30am, leaving him dead on the spot.
On information police recovered the body and sent it to Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
