Dinajpur: Two minor children drowned in a pond at South Nasratpur village under Chirirbandar upazila in Dinajpur on Monday.

The victims were identified as Pintu, 5, son of Haren Chandra and Liton, 5, son of Moniram, residents of the same village.

Police said the duo drowned in the pond near their house while they were taking bath beyond the knowledge of their parents.
