Mymensingh: Four people, including a woman and a child, were killed and two others injured in a head-on collision between a truck and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in front of the municipality office in Ishwarganj upazila of Mymensingh on Wednesday afternoon.

The identity of the deceased could not be ascertained immediately.

The Ishwarganj Police Officer-in-charge Badrul Alam Khan said the accident took place when a truck collided head-on with the auto-rickshaw in the area at about 12:00pm, leaving four people dead on the spot and two injured.

The injured were whisked off to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.
