Sirajganj: Three workers including two women sustained burn injuries in a boiler blast in Shiyalcoal Bazar area of Sadar upazila in Sirajganj on Wednesday evening.

The injured are Sober Ali, Sakera Beoya, and Hafiza Khatun, all residents of Shiyallcoal village.

Abdul Mannan, chairman of Shiyalcoal union council, said that boiler of a husking machine exploded while around 5 workers were working at a rice mill in the area around 6pm, leaving three workers burn injured.

The condition of two among the injured was critical, added the UC Chairman.
