Gopalganj: A college teacher was crushed under the wheels of a lorry at Gopalganj Upazila Parishad on Tuesday morning.

The deceased was Badal Krishna Biswas, 61, acting principal of Gopalganj Sheikh Russel School and College.

Gopalganj Police Station Officer-in-charge M Selim Reza said the land-laden lorry knocked down Badal while jogging in front of Gopalganj Sadar Upazila Parishad, leaving him injured.

Later, he was taken to Gopalganj Sadar Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
