Dhaka: Two people were killed and another was injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a utility vehicle at Bondabil in Alamdanga upazila of Chuadanga on Sunday morning.

The Alamdanga Police sub-inspector Mizanur Rahman said the accident took place when the Chuadanga-bound bus coming from Kushtia collided with the utility vehicle around 7:10am, leaving one human hauler passenger dead on the spot and two others injured.

The deceased could not be identified yet, the SI said.

The injured were taken to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital where another succumbed to his injures, he added.
