Two electricians were electrocuted at Telihar village in Kalai upazila of Joypurhat on Friday night.

Sumon Kumar Roy, officer-in-charge of Kalai Police Station, said Afzal Hossain and Shakil Ahmed, hailing from Gomradighi village in Gobindoganj upazila of Gaibandha district, came in contact with a live wire while they were setting up power line for a religious programme around 10pm and got injured critically, reports the UNB.

They were taken to Kalai upazila health complex where doctors declared them dead.
