Chittagong: An unidentified man was killed in a road accident on the flyover in port city’s GEC intersection on Thursday morning.

According to police, the accident took place when a covered van hit a utility vehicle used for public transport on the flyover around 7:30am, leaving two of human hauler passengers injured.

Later, the injured were taken to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) where doctors declared one of them dead.

The body was sent to the morgue, said Nayek Amir Hossian of CMCH police outpost.
