Dhaka: A traffic constable was crushed under a truck in Technical intersection of Mirpur Road in Dhaka on Tuesday morning.

The deceased is Abdul Majid, in his thirties, from Chapainawabganj.

Sub-inspector Bacchu Miah of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) said that the accident took place around 7:00am as the truck hit him while he was performing duty, leaving critically injured.

Later, he was rushed to DMCH where he succumbed to his injuries.
