Pabna: A truck driver was killed and two other people were injured in a head-on collision between two trucks at Shoroi Kandi in Ishwardi upazila of Pabna on Friday morning.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

The accident took place around 7:00am when the stone-laden Kushtia-bound truck collided with another cotton-laden truck, leaving the driver dead on the spot and two others injured.

The injured were admitted to Ishwardi upazila health complex.
