Four students hurt in Pabna school wall collapse
Pabna: Four students were injured as an under-construction wall of a school collapsed on them at Shibrampur in Sadar Upazila on Saturday morning.
The injured are Afrin, Afsana, Ami, Ismail, all four are the students of Shibrampur Model Government Primary School, reports the UNB.
Witnesses said the wall fell on the children when they were walking beside it around 10:30am, leaving them severely injured.
The injured were rushed to Pabna General Hospital where doctors referred Ismail, a first grader and Afrin, a second grader, to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital considering the severity of their injuries.
Students and their guardians blocked Dhaka- Pabna road for some time protesting the collapse incident.
