Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor’s son, Harshvardhan Kapoor is all set to play an unusual superhero in his upcoming movie, Bhavesh Joshi. The movie has been directed by Lootera’s Vikramaditya Motwane.

Initially, the movie was supposed to release on May 25, 2018, but in a shocker of sorts, the release date has now been shifted to June 1, 2018, as revealed by Harsh himself on his Twitter page. However, the date will clash with his sister Sonam Kapoor's Veere Di Wedding, reports PinkVilla.

Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, Veere Di Wedding also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhasker, Shikha Talsania and Sumeet Vyas in pivotal roles.

Meanwhile, Motwane recently revealed that Harsh was not the first choice for Bhavesh Joshi. Vikramaditya had approached Shahid Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra and Imran Khan as well.

In an interview with PTI, Motwane said, ‘We spoke to Shahid, but it was very briefly... For this film, casting went through a lot of changes. Imran Khan was to be part of it, then it went to Sidharth Malhotra. With Imran it was like, his career wasn’t going well and we couldn’t raise the money. I am quite sad about it. With Sidharth, it just fell apart. With Shahid, it was just a conversation, it was never formulated.’
