Three killed in Savar, Habiganj road accidents
Two motorcyclists were killed when a bus rammed a motorbike on Dhaka-Aricha highway at Aminbazar Truck Stand in Savar on Friday.
The deceased were identified as Sujat, 25 and Shafiq Ahmed, 26, hailing from Pabna district, reports the UNB.
Mohsinul Quadir, officer-in-charge of Savar Model Police Station, said the accident took place around 7:30 am when a bus of ‘Inter-city Paribahan’ hit the motorbike carrying two people, leaving them dead on the spot.
On information, police recovered the bodies and sent those to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital.
In Habiganj, a schoolboy was killed as a battery-run easy-bike hit him at Richi village in Sadar upazila on Friday morning.
The deceased was identified as Joy, 10, son of Akbar Miah, a resident of BRAC school in the area.
Witnesses said the easy-bike ran over Joy while he was playing in front of his house in the morning, leaving him critically injured.
Later, he was rushed to SadarAdhunik Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
