Dhaka: At least two people were killed and eight others injured following a head-on collision between a bus and a human hauler at Beribadh in the city’s Rupnagar area on Tuesday morning.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately, said Sub-inspector Shyamol of Rupnagar Police Station, reports the UNB.

The accident took place when the bus hit the human hauler in the area adjacent to PWB office, leaving ten passengers of the human hauler injured, said the SI.

Later, among the injured, three were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where the duty doctors declared two of them dead, said Sub-inspector Bacchu Miah of the hospital police outpost.
