Internet is full of videos of scary, sometimes poisonous snakes randomly showing up in places they shouldn’t be in.  Earlier, a snake was found on a plane, another was pulled out from a car’s engine, and still another was found dangling from an air conditioner. However, what if a man, commuting on the same train or metro as you, carries a snake in his lap?

Well, that’s what a woman—and several others—witnessed while on a train in Boston, Massachusetts.

Twitter user Anne Keane posted a video of a co-passenger on her train carrying a large snake in his lap. The boomerang video doesn’t show the man’s face, only the snake in his hands, reports NDTV.

‘There were definitely people giving looks like, ‘What’s going on over there?’’ she told The Boston Globe. ‘One guy asked if he could hold it, so he actually held it while his friend took photos,’ she added.

Ms Keane shot a video of the snake and tweeted it asking if snakes were in fact allowed on the train.

‘Snake. On the train. @mbta uh...what’s the policy here?’ she tweeted tagging the official handle of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority.

Luckily, MBTA responded to her tweet and cleared her doubts. As it turns out, snakes or other small animals are allowed on trains but need to be carried in containers.
