Mumbai: An Indian teacher slapped a student 40 times in three minutes for not saying ‘present’ during the attendance call.

As the class had a CCTV camera, the video of this incident has surfaced, showing how mercilessly the teacher is hitting the student.

According to the Indian media, the heart wrenching incident took place in Lucknow’s St. John Vianney School, reports Daily Pakistan.

In between, the video also shows her taking breaks in order to warm up her hands and ease out the pain after which she continues hitting him. She also pushes the child by his chest and pulls him by his collar.

As per an ABP report, the father of student said, ‘School principal asked for the reason behind this inhumane behaviour over which the teacher answered that she got angry.’ The principal has promised the parents to suspend the teacher soon.

He said that his son was absolutely silent after returning back from school. Some of his classmates who live in the same locality told him what had happened.

When he went to the school and complained, the father checked the footage and found out how aggressively had the teacher hit the child.
