A 41-year-old Ukrainian woman was stopped at passport control office, not because she didn’t have all the required documents or her baggage wasn’t checked. The officials could not believe she was around forty years old as she claimed to be, reports Hindustantimes.
Natalie Dzenkiv, singer in a band called Lama, was travelling back home after a holiday in Turkey when she was halted to be questioned about her travel documents, reported ladbible.com.
‘When I found out the reason for my arrest,’ she told ladbible.com, ‘I even started laughing as it was the age in my passport.’
The passport control officers thought her to be 20 years younger than her actual age and suspected that she was using an older woman’s passport.
‘I am already used to compliments about the way I look, but I couldn’t have imagined that it might be a reason for detaining me,’ the report quoted Dzenkiv.
According to the report, Natalie was allowed to pass through after people recognised the singer and began asking for her autograph.
