Woman delivers baby inside cab, both get free rides for 5 years

A 21-year-old Indian woman, Ishwari Singh Vishwakarma, became a mother to a beautiful baby boy and probably got the best welcoming gift for him and herself, reports Indiatimes.
The mother rented a cab to the hospital, but could not hold the baby in and ended up delivering him inside the cab. The baby was then born inside an Ola cab, on the way to the hospital in the wee hours of 2 October.
But this isn’t the only good news that made her happy. Since the baby was delivered inside the cab, Ola gave them a massive gift of free rides for 5 years.
‘My wife’s expected delivery date was October 24 but in the wee hours of October 2, she started experiencing labour pains, so we booked a cab in the morning to go to Kamla Nehru Hospital, and at around 7.20 am, the cab driver arrived for pick up at our residence in Kondhwa area,’ her husband Ramesh Singh Vishwakarma said, reports The Free Press Journal.
As part of a goodwill gesture, Ola sent the same driver to pick up the woman and her son on Thursday, the day they were discharged.
Giving away free rides and free tickets is a common phenomenon with cab-services and airlines around the world.
Earlier this year, Jet Airways gave free flight tickets for life to a boy who was born on one of its flights between Saudi Arabia and India, reports Indiatimes.
