With rain falling down, one driver recently did his part to make the world a better, drier place for one traffic cop.

Surveillance video from the Anhui city of Wuhu shows an umbrella come flying out of a passing car’s window, landing at the officer’s feet as he stands on duty in the middle of an intersection, soaked to the bone by rain, reports shanghaiist.com.

The 50-year-old driver told Pear Video that when he saw the poor officer, standing so still in obvious discomfort, he was moved and decided to do what he could to help the guy out.
