VIDEO: Giant shark catches camera and tries to take a selfie!

“Curiosity can be as dangerous as a butterfly hovering over a flame,” Nancy B Brewer wrote. But, a giant white shark has taken its inquisitive nature to another level.
Scientists captured an astonishing footage of a shark during a recent research expedition to the Southwest Pacific and the 1-minute clip has gone viral.
The 3 to 4-metre-long male shark was caught on film in the Kermadec Islands, that was kept 1000 km northeast of the North Island of New Zealand.
The researchers had arranged two video cameras to survey the marine life. But, they did not expect a shark to be interested in the camera. Even though the close-ups of the shark’s pointy teeth looked terrifying, its playfulness made it quite an entertaining video.
The white shark took the entire steel frame into its jaw and took it to the surface. The shark tried to play around with the camera frame thrice but eventually failed to understand the technology.
