A woman was ostracised and then thrown out of her house in India’s Telagana by her husband for allegedly refusing to cook biryani, reports Times of India.

The victim said her husband would come home drunk every night and demand that she cook biryani and would thrash her when she refused to do so.

Earlier this week, she had staged a sit-in along with her family members demanding she should be allowed to enter her in-laws house. The man allegedly dumped his wife saying that the dowry he got was inadequate and she did not cook desire meal.
