In a bizarre way of conducting marriage ceremony, a couple in India’s Uttar Pradesh’s Kannauj tied knot at a police station on Thursday.

The incident took place, when some of the family members of the bride and groom went into frenzy during the marriage ceremony, reports the ANI news agency.

The family of the bride decided to call off the marriage due to unforeseen events that took place during the ceremony. The police reached the spot and decided to take the father of the groom to the police station.

After a long discussion, both the families decided to end their differences and tied the knot in the police station.
