Family alleges hospital of refusing to give body of kin for 5days

In an allegation levelled against a private hospital, a family has alleged that a private hospital in India’s Noida refused them to see the body of their deceased kin for next five days after his death, reports ANI (Asian News International).
Putting some serious allegations against the hospital, the family said that their kin Manoj died five days ago, but to extract money, the hospital refused to give the body to the family. Manoj was admitted to the hospital, where doctors said that the he was suffering from stomach infection. Manoj was kept on ventilator and was finally declared dead 11 days later.
The family alleged that the hospital demanded for Indian Rs 6 lakh to take the body of the deceased and did not cite any major reason of Manoj’s death. The family has urged the authorities to investigate the matter.
