An artist drew attention to pot holes in an Indian city by turning a large hole into an ocean scene—complete with an actress dressed as a mermaid, reports UPI.
Baadal Nanjundaswamy used paint on a large pot hole in Bengaluru to make the water filling the hole resemble blue ocean water and had actress Sonu Gowda splash in the hole while dressed as a mermaid.
The artist posted before and after photos of his art project to his official Facebook page.
Nanjundaswamy said the installation is aimed at drawing attention to the dangerous pot holes, which have been blamed for numerous deadly accidents on the city’s roads.
