Video: Big green snake eating 2ft-long iguana

Disturbing footage shows the moment a snake devoured a 2ft-long iguana whole after attacking it on a golf course.
The Golden Tree Snake was filmed as it swallowed the reptile in just five minutes in rare footage captured from the 14th green of the The Royal Golf And Country Club in Bangkok, Thailand, reports the Mirror.
The extraordinary moment, which unusually took place in broad daylight, took place on Thursday afternoon as the venomous snake crushes its victim in its jaws and then eats it.
It was spotted by Murray Darling, a corporate managing director originally from Scotland.
He said: ‘My golf was bad but I was having a better day than this poor lizard on the 14th green.
'I thought it was a small monitor at first but I think it was more iguana like.
‘The snake had it fully under control. The iguana head never came out from the snake’s mouth in the five minutes we watched.
‘I was having a horrible round but sunk my only one putt of the day to ensure I got off the green swiftly. The snake was going to win. We left and let him enjoy his dinner.'
The Golden Tree Snake, also known as a Flying Snake or its scientific name of Chrysopelea ornata, is fairly common across Asia.
They normally feed on rats, birds, small lizards, eggs and insects but it is rare to see them devouring such a large Iguana.
