Workman hits ‘drunken’ woman as she disrupts late-night roadworks

A workman appeared to hit an woman who was stumbling around apparently drunk disrupting a crew carrying out late-night roadworks.
In the disturbing footage, the workman is heard shouting ‘F*** off’ to the woman after appearing to knock her to the ground.
Pushing over the security barrier, the woman forces her way onto the site as the crew carry out maintenance work.
The woman stumbles around the site as the workmen look on, reports the Mirror.
She marches up to a roller, which is being operated at the time by a member of the crew, and walks right in front of it.
Another workman carrying a spade ushers her away but, visibly irritated, she then walks back into the middle of the site where the other men are working.
She then follows the man carrying a spade and looks as though she tries to take it from him.
Appearing agitated by her behaviour, the workman carrying the spade takes a swing at her with his other free hand, causing her to fall to the ground.
The woman manages to pick herself up as another man in high-vis clothing waves the crew away from her.
After she is hit she continues to interfere with the work being carried out, picking up dirt and throwing it around.
The video was posted on YouTube but it is not known where in the UK the incident happened.
