A farmer has put up a massive poster of a porn star in his field to keep his crops safe.

Chenchu Reddy says his alternative scarecrow works and he even believes the picture to be magic as it’s helped his crops.

The 45-year-old is growing crops in 10 acres of farmland in Andhra Pradesh, India, and said they have been attracting the attention from villagers and passersby.

So to ward off ‘their evil eye’ he decided to put up a poster of the erotic actress Sunny Leone.

he poster reads: ‘Hey, don’t cry or feel jealous of me!’ and has a picture of the porn star posing in a red bikini, reports the Mirror.

And speaking to the Hindustan Times , the superstitious farmer says his use of boob power has worked.

Now nobody is looking at his bumper cauliflower and cabbage crop as all attention is now on the scantily clad woman.

He said: ‘Year after year, I would suffer losses because of poor yeild.

‘The crops looked healthy for some time, but then something would go wrong.

‘This year, I have a good crop on 10 acres. This has been attracting unnecessary attention of villagers and passersby.’

He added: ‘To ward off their evil eye, I thought of this idea of putting up the big flax poster of Sunny Leone a couple of days ago.

‘The trick has worked. nobody is looking at my crop now.’

Other common tactics used to protect crops include ugly dolls or metal plates engraved with pictures of demons.

And Reddy says he is not worried about being told to take the signs down.

He added: ‘The officials never bother to come to our fields to find out our problems. Why should they have any objection?’
