Motorcyclist nearly dies in car accident
A motorcyclist had a narrow escape when his bike rammed an overturned SUV in Plano, Texas, on Saturday. The chilling accident was recorded on the biker’s GoPro camera and shows him left with no time to apply brakes and slams straight into the SUV, reports Khaleej Times.
The YouTube video shows a car jumps the red light and hits the SUV which turns over on its side and hits another car. The motorcyclist, Malik Elizee, who was coming from the other side, rams the wreck with great impact. Miraculously, the motorcyclist escaped unhurt and even rode back his bike after the accident.
Elizee posted the video on YouTube and wrote, ‘No one left in an ambulance, myself included. I was wearing most of my gear (was only going up the road so only had on regular jeans and boots), gloves and jacket saved me what would’ve been some serious sliding damage.’
Fortunately, the motorcycle was not majorly damaged other than the frame sliders which saved most of the bike.
‘Other than some broken plastic and mirror, the damage isn’t too serious,’ he wrote. ‘Still can start up and ride, I actually rode it home.’
He told WFAA-TV, the Dallas ABC station, that it’s the third time he’s been hit in two years of riding but will not stop riding.
